Maybe better make it working before take money from people. The app is crashing every time I lunched it.

I love this app! The putting information is invaluable especially for a PGA Professional like me. My students are putting better already and the data reinforces what we work on. Knowledge is power! Please bring back the finer details (height/wrist to floor/style) for putter fittings. I dont use the full swing data, but players must understand that this info is for motivation and guidance. No device on your wrist will be as accurate as 3D body tracking and launch monitor data.

I wish that I could give it less than 1 star. I paid the five bucks and the app simply doesnt work. The worst $5 I have spent in a long time! Ping really needs to get their crap together.

Downloaded the app for the sole purpose of tracking the tempo of my swing. Turns out that is an "in-app purchase". I shell out $5 for the app and my watch keeps telling me I have to buy the "full experience". Deleting and reinstalling on both the watch and the phone didnt help. Now I have a $5 app that doesnt do what it promised nor does it track scores any better than the free alternatives. I cant believe this is an "essentials" app promoted by Apple. Save your money and wait till this app is ready for prime time.

I unfortunately purchased this app. It doesnt work at the simplest level (recording swings, changing clubs, wont shut down app, crashes when incoming text comes in). Called customer support, really a switchboard of no return. They promised to call me back its been 30+ days. I am not surprised since they told me only 1-2 people even knew anything about the app. My advice, dont buy it!!

This is a great app when it works. Halfway through my round of the past five times out I get a spinning circle and can no longer add in any shots. If they can fix this I would give it five stars.

Dont waste your money. Thought this would be a useful app, but app just does not work. App loads on my Apple Watch, then when you try to start a practice round it just flat out crashes, every single time. Uninstalled and reinstalled, but exact same result. Expected a lot more from Ping. Waste of my money. Need a refund!

This app is crap, it has never worked, doesnt record swings or even allow you to pick a club on the app. The theory is great, the reality crap . This app demonstrates why apps should have at least a 14 day trial period. I. Sure ping has made a nice chunk off change off of all of us suckers

Update: still not ready. I was hoping to use this app to work on swing tempo efficiently however it feels slow and cumbersome. It doesnt capture each swing I make. For now, stay with external Bluetooth devices like Swingbyte which will give you way more than tempo. Unfortunately those are more complex systems which adds time to your training. Im hoping the Ping app will improve over time.

I paid for the Apple Watch upgrade. It worked for, in not exaggerating here, 3 swings. Then I took a break to talk to someone. I kept practicing and over 100 balls later I check my stats. Turns out it read nothing after those 1st three. I wasnt that upset but whats really getting under my skin is that every time I open up the app on my watch it asks me to pay again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and it has done nothing. Waste of money.

If you are considering this app because you got an Apple Watch and are looking for a cool golf, I wouldnt recommend this one for $5. Pretty worthless.

App is useless and rarely works as advertised. Have to start it on your phone to avoid the "buy this app" notice and doesnt work if your phone goes to sleep. Controls are not intuitive. I want my $5 back.

Hit practice swing and the. Is says to swing and then it goes right back to Apple Watch home screen. Go back to app and say continue practice and start whole cycle over. Never records anything.

With the update, the app is now crashing upon startup on my phone. And the icon has disappeared from my watch. Fixed when I rebooted phone. Had to reinstall on watch.

Does not work, waste of hard earned cash. Try the other TrackMyGolf Tempo app, that actually works, and it is free!

In order to utilize the built in GPS of the watch you have to turn off Bluetooth and WiFi???? Kind of defeats the reason we own and wear an Apple Watch.

This app offers some great features that have really helped my golf game. However you cannot even play an entire round without your batter dying after 6 holes. If they could find a way to tweak the setting to allow a player to complete a full golf round and finish a day with your watch that would be great. It has the features for a 5 star app but because it chews through your batter so quickly I cannot use it. If people are wondering about the GPS feature it works great and after 7 holes my phone still had 91% battery. I hope Ping fixes this quickly or I will expect a full refund.

Overall, the app is not very useful excluding the battery not lasting a full 18 holes of golf. Example, while using on AW you cant zoom in on the map to get distance for a specific spot you may want to lay up at. I believe this app is not worth a monthly fee or yearly fee.
